Some good and bad news from the world of Psyke. It seems
the Psyke team will take a break, and it also seems the
team has broken up. Apparently, mOoNsHaDo and RaskY have
had some discussions lately and mOoN has decided to stop
developing for Psyke. RaskY is still waiting to hear from
the mOoNsHaDo on his final decision but that's how it stands
right now. It feels so bad that probably RaskY will stop
developing completely for the emulator. But read on...
|Psyke gets a break... - September 26, '98 by JoseQ
Even though RaskY has decided to stop development for a
month, a bunch of cool things were happening. First of all,
the guys at ZTNET and Emulation Unlimited had helped RaskY with
their page, and had gotten them the http://www.psyke.com domain name. Apparently
a little too late.
Also and even more exciting, RaskY also had help from
an unmentioned source, to develop MDEC emulation (shots on the page). Instead of skipping the little movies in those
PSX games, they were actually working on showing them! That
would be completely cool. It is still undetermined as to if
RaskY is going to release the current beta, but he asks
numerous times not to be e-mailed about any of those decisions. You will be notified, at least a month from now,
as to what is going to happen with Psyke. We just have to
be patient. Thanks to Snatcher for the news.
