Modeler WIP Pics! - February 20, '01 by JoseQ
Want to see some great looking screenshots from the latest work in progress Modeler build? Visit the Modeler website, and head into the Gallery section to see four new "Golden Axe 2" screenshots. Two of them come from the demo mode, and the other two from in-game sections it seems. They do look absolutely correct this time, so be sure to check them out. There was no mention of a possible release soon although one has been rumored to be happening not so far into the future.

Does anyone know what systems(s) the zinc emulator is going to emulate?
The impact emu homepage gives no info...yet.

Yes it does, right on the front page: "Zinc is the Linux version of Impact". That covers 96% of what you need to know.

some games are pretty good speed for me,well im on a 700mhz celeron,so that might be why.im sure it will get more optimized with future versions, cuz those games should not require alot of horsepower

Wonderful Emu. Gives a lot of hope to System32 hardcores like me. Although, it is a little on the slow side.

We're contrarians, so the Linux version has a super-deluxe MAME32-style GUI while Win32 gets a simple combobox ;-)

Modeler is the means, not the end - when we perfect System 32 emulation we will create a MAME driver and then you can have all the features you want.

>I haven't read the txt file anyway...

You probably should.

the shadows are still in front of the main sprites! That actually bugs me more than the lack of scaling 3D parts (if that's what the between level bits are)
