MGS bleempack goes gold! - June 22, '01 by JoseQ
The bleem! website was updated with news about their "Metal Gear Solid" bleempack going gold! That's as close as it gets to being released, so expect that to hit shelves fairly soon. If you're not familiar with this game, some people call it the best game ever, and it's sequel had hundreds of people looking at the demos at E3 this year, so if you're a Dreamcast only guy, you sure want to pick this bleempack up when it comes out. While I'm sure this piece of news will make the news at EMU-LMAO, I just wanted to put a link to them, so that you can see their site. It's quite 'interesting' if I may say so... If you have the spare time, read through.

The story behing the Bleem! company is this...Back in 1995 Bleem! attempted to produce their own system called Bleem3D. Upon it's arrival at the '95 E3 convention, Bleem! realized that it's competitors had blown their system right out the water, pulled it from the E3 convention exactly 33 minutes after it's arrival. So, all in all, Bleem! now has to resort to mocking other company's products because oviously they don't cut it when it comes to gaming of any kind. Bleem! is nothing more then a solo programmers emulator, commercially sold to some half-ass gaming company. I hope Bleem! dies just like their ferry fuck fagot system they created called Bleem3D.

I talked to the local guy at Software ETC and he was like "We don't carry Bleem! because Sony asked us not to." He wasn't apologetic or anti-bleem, just told me the facts.

So let's hope Sony eventually gives in. Another great game that nobody will get to play on DC with full screen anti aliasing would be too bad.. ; p

Keep up the good work!
