| Connectix holds right to distribute! - February 4, '99 by JoseQ
| Just reported at ZD Net, Sony has was rejected its request to
hold the distribution of the Virtual Game Station in
a San Francisco court today. Roy McDonald, president of
Connectix, states: "We have offered this type of ability successfully and without controversy for years in the PC emulation market and intend to defend the consumer's right to this functionality in the PlayStation market space as well...". This is a good sign for us in the emulation
community as a judge sees no reason why Sony could hold
the distribution of this emulator, even when Connectix is
getting profit from it. More information on this will
probably be distributed tomorrow. Thanks to JPMorgan for
the news!
