Mikie by TwinBee
Game:MikieCompany:Konami
Type:PlatformPlayers:1/2

Mikie likes it, why don’t you try it? Mikie is the name of Konami’s 1984 mix between Pac-Man, musical chairs, school, a disgruntled teacher, and a punky 80’s high school student.
In Mikie, you collect hearts from other students while avoiding the teacher in a classroom environment. With every heart you collect, you gain a letter in the spelling of a “password” to exit the classroom. To get hearts, you must knock other students out of their desks when a heart appears under them. The method used is the “butt bump”, and it’s really quite funny. If your homicidal teacher catches up with you, you have three options. You can sit down if there is a free seat nearby (if not you can “free” a seat), and he will get back to his job teaching the class. You can run away from him (he will run out of breath), or you can try headbutting him (which is difficult at best). Once you have spelled the keyword out you may exit into the hallway and enter another classroom (oh, rapture!). As you progress through school the keywords get progressively longer. As the levels go up, your stature in school goes up until you graduate.
All together, this is a pretty fun game with a fairly creative concept (In 1984 were they on their 12th or 13 revision of Pac-Man?). I like it, although it never was popular. I also like weirdo. Hehe.
