SMS Power Releases - July 21,1999 by JoseQ
Update: Yet another release at SMS Power. This timethe honors go to "Wolfchild" a very good looking game that was releasedin Europe close to the end of the SMS life. You have to take a look atit since as Zoop describes it, it is a 16-bit wannabe kind of game, andI think they did a great job at trying.
Well it is about time I covered SMS Power again isn't it? I think I should also mentionsome things about their possible server move. Those ofyou interested in their releases, they have releasedthree games over the last few days. The games are "Solomon's Key" which you may remember from theNES version of the same name. Secondly, "World Cup 90" whichis their first Soccer game, which had two sequels. Andtoday, they just released "Great Basketball" which waspart of their 'great' sport series.
You may have also noticed Zoop's message about theybeing asked to leave their current host, which is ofcourse SpeedHost.Com, my host. The reasons they have beenasked to leave is because their bandwidth usage far exceededthe costs of hosting. I'm not talking about a few dollars, but more like 10 times as much usage. I simply can't affordthat. Now that the files are being mirrored all over, theusage has gone down noticeably, and it would probably beOK for everything to go as it has been going in the lastfew days. At any rate, the site would move and not dissapear. With the many mirrors provided by very goodfriends, it has been working out great (in my opinion).I just had to clarify that, since it is by no means adisgruntled kick, but more like I need to save my own butthere. SMS Power should continue to bring you qualitySMS releases for a long time to come.
