RockNES news... - November 04,1999 by JoseQ
The RockNES Home Page was updated yesterday with news about the upcoming version, release 0.982. Acouple of screenshots from various games are postedincluding: "Klax", "Arkanoid II" and "Bigfoot" frommappers #64, #70 and #1 respectively. There wasn't anymention of when this may be released, but judging fromFx3 release patterns, it could happen by the end of thisweekend. Also, is it me, or am I the only one who postsabout new updates at the RockNES page and then some other sites decide to post about it? I've noticedthat during the last couple of times. They do post aboutthe releases as soon as it happens though, but sometimesI feel I'm the only one looking at the updates. What do you think?

Is it just me or do these RockNES guys
work extra hard? I feel bad that I've never
even tried their emulator. NESticle so far
seems to do the trick perfectly.

If only this kind of dedication were
charactersitic of all in-progress
emulators. I think I will download this
latest RockNES just to see how good it is.
