What is considered to be the most complete PC Engine emulator out there, Magic Engine will be released on December 15! Just over two weeks folks. The delay since their latestposting was due to their implementation of a couple of highly requested features, among them: Scanlines, MultipleLanguages, Hi Resolution Gui, and more. This system isable to emulate the TurboGrafx16, SuperGrafx, and theirCD-ROM counterparts fully! It's truly a gem. They arealready taking pre-orders, so if you want to be one ofthe first in your block to own it, visit their web-siteand fill out the order form. It's sure going to be a greatrelease.

I've bein a registed user of Magic Engine since it 1st became avalible and I found it well worth the $35 US I payed. And now they are charging like $15 US I'd say it's well worth it. And since I already bought it I get the update for free right in my e-mail. cracks are good to test the software out but imagine all the effort and time this person devoted to emulate a TG16 on a PC all the code and organizing that would have to be done.... And Magic Engine was the 1st emulator to work as well as it does was almost 100% for most games already now for the last year or so.

I have a real turbo duo,
and a real turbo express.

But i don't have anywhere
near the number of real hu-cards
as I do for emulators, that's why.

You won't have to pay for this emu.
Just wait till the crack sites get
their hands on a copy. I didn't have
to pay for the V.91 I'm running now,
and I won't have to pay for the V1.0
they'll release Dec. 15th. GOD I LOVE
THE INTERNET!!!!

(Besides, if it only runs in WinBlows,
using DirectS(hit), it won't even be
worth the download.

Well numbnuts that's nice you've proven yourself a
theiving shmuck to the world. While I generally
do agree an emulator should be free I make an
exception now and again, Magic Engine being one.
Why? Well its not just some ROM runner like Marat's
stuff obviously used to pirate. I don't swallow
that he sells it for people who do development, if
he did it would have a debugger and more sorta like
MO$gmb(pun intended). That emu though I won't buy
just on a matter of principle(like VSMC) because
the author is a liar... "this emu will always be
free..."hence the name "NO"Cash GameBoy. I don't
use it anyways I have better stuff that I use to
test something I might want to buy. I could
understand not paying if it didn't have a genuine
use other than obviously playing ROMS for free
such as iNES, VGBWin, that Japanese NGPC emu, etc.
Magic Engine allows people who used to have a DUO
(or TG16 CD unit addon) who have CD's but no longer
a unit due to selling it or it breaking. Also take
a look a the fact, like bleem! (if it worked right)
has many enhancements over the console itself.
The emulator runs in a nice interpolated mode, the
CD seek time is neglegible next to a TG16 CD Unit/
DUO, it runs Arcade CD games and the rest without
an System3 and/or ACD card. I don't see why some
one in this particular case couldn't pay a simple
preorder of $14.50(roughly) for something that will
out do the real thing, and considering all the other
great stuff it does coupled with the years of work.

Now to this next stupid comment... 1) There is not
a thing wrong with DirectX when it is used properly
and not shottely(?). 2) When you order the PC
version of Magic Engine you'll get both a DOS and
a Win9X/NT version as well (there's also a MAC
version for those sad individuals).

Three things:
A) MagicEngine has probably been around longer than you've been into emulation (wasd around 4 years ago when I got into emulation)
B) PCE had some really fun games, and awesome graphics
C) If you don't like it, don't pay for it! its that simple!

Uhmm, I hate to break it to you, but the
pc-engine/turbo duo has some awesome games,
and it is at least as powerful as the genesis/snes

Ssssh... keep it to yourself. As unlikely as it may seem there's just a slight possibility that he'll listen to you and then we'll have every kid who didn't realise that Beavis and Butthead were a joke (and there's many of them) filling all the emulation msg boards with demands for StripFighter Deluxe Turbo 99. Low profile is good... let's face it, MagicEngine and it's ilk are lame. So let us lamers buy it and enjoy it :)
