Where is JoseQ? - December 16,1999 by JoseQ
If you've been wondering about where I am, and why amI not updating the site as frequently, and of course, themissing Rumor Mills, then let me explain a little. Ti'sthe season of Joy in the United States so the webmasterhas been too busy with among other things, gettingready for the actual holidays. If the season alone wasn'tenough, my day job has been busier than ever, which I'mactually enjoying, I'm also spending most of my free timeworking on my game room which needs to be finished verysoon as my HanaHo A33 Cabinet is being shipped today! (Thursday) so it should arrive next week and I still haven't put the drywall up. So you can get a slight ideaof my latest schedule since this of course adds up todoing technical support for my SpeedHost.Com customers andupdating my other sites as well. There will be a Rumor Milland there will always be news updates, I'll keep on doingthat even if it costs me some of the few hours I'm sleeping. Hopefully I'll get around posting the Mill duringthe weekend, or maybe earlier, who knows. There are somerumors flying around that you should know about. In the meantime, just drop some comments here...

the emulation scene right know is absolutely

Hah! Emulation absolutely dead? What you talking about?

I always wonder why people ever feel that way. We've had bitter weeks when there's really nothing happening, but didn't we just saw Pole Position and Turbo come up last week?

Aren't we getting Sparcade this week? Whoops... I didn't say that.

I have no idea, and I wish I knew so that I could turn it off. I wish most of the time that I would find some time to be bored, but I just seem to sign up for anything and everything and end up being overwhelmed. It has been like this for the past few years. I guess I enjoy having lot's of stuff to do. I'm here, and loving it!

I'd like to take a sec to tell a story of a selfless man. A man who has given so much with no asking of return. A man that should enjoy the holiday season with alittle more backbone, seeing he has helped, nudged, or brought realization to new gamers and friends alike. We may be blessed with such a game'r a JoseQ in our family, ...But lets not forget JoseQ's family and how they have put up with his "EMU craziness" for the year come to pass. God bless Classic Gaming and God Bless JoseQ. Have a great holliday season.

Hey JoseQ, I know from personal experience that you just can't skimp on sleep. (I should be in bed right now, in fact.) Don't push yourself so hard that you make yourself sick, trying to keep this site up and running. It'll still be here, and we'll all be here - but if you need to take care of yourself and your Real Life, by all means, put those things first!

Not that we don't enjoy all the hard work you put into this site. =) Just take care of yourself too, man. You're just as important as we are, if not more so.

Cheers, and Merry Christmas! I will probably not get a chance to post again until after the holiday - I'm moving and will have DSL service installed in one week! WHEE!
