NESten gets second release! - January 05,2000 by JoseQ
How can you say authors never listen? Given the goodfeedback the NESten author has gotten, he decided toprovide us with a new release. You can download Beta 2from the Emulator Download Page. This version has better DirectX support, also provides full screen graphics modes and accompanying those changes, requires DX 6.0or better. The author has posted a good list of hints andtips to obtain best results using the emulator. Enjoy!

Loopy nes has Zapper support. You use the mouse and move a crosshair around the screen.
Also in the documentation for Jnes there's something about zapper support. I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet.
As to the powerpad games I think Loopy supports it. There is an option for it in the input catagories.
I'm not sure how or if it works though. I didn't get any documentation with my copy.

That's a great idea Jesse! Someone should integrate mouse support for Zapper games. And I don't see why the Power Pad couldn't be converted to keyboard either.

You know an emu fan like myself appreciates the hard work and effort authors put into their emus, i was curious about bringing this up but i wont be around the bush,i was wondering why nes emus dont support gmaes like duck hunt, or do but there is no way to play them or games that require the running pad, i hope authors take a look at this and maybe consider it if its not much to impose -sincererly- jesse micheals of emuunlim.
