Check out Emulution! - January 18,2000 by JoseQ
Are you looking for a good front-end? Well maybe you should check out Emulution, a universal front-end that is sure to bring unity to your emulation gaming. Emulution isa Windows based front-end that will let you configure all your emulators, directories, and image libraries together in order for them to be called from a single entity, that being the universal front-end. Check out the Home Page for screenshots and downloads. I'm not personally a front-end user as I like to use the command prompt too much, but Imust say I was tempted to change my ways when I looked atthose screenshots. Maybe you should give it a try? (and then comment here about it).

Well, I think it's nice and a great idea but I wish it were a bit less complicated and a bit more acurate. It also dont support PCAE for Atari 2600. :( Also, I think the database is a bit premature. I wish someone would just write an MSAccess interface that couls list all games that each system supports and link it by hyperlink. This would be extreamly time consuming but I'd be able to supply the database's for more EMU's. If Jax67 would like my database's for intergration into his next release, he's more then welcome to them. E-Mail me at WhyThumB@Hotmail.com.

Emulution isn't a ROM maintenance tool. Check Cowerings great GOOD* series of utilities to do that for you. Emulution maintains a library of what you have on your system. It won't rename them based on CRC values but if it's something you feel should be added, please forward me anything you have (data) on the subject and we can discuss it further :)
