From:
Shane's otherwise outstanding radio show has one almost unforgiveable error.

The New 2600 Pac-Man was hacked and authored by Mr. ROB "RAINDOG" KUDLA and only him!!! Rob can be found at www.kudla.org/raindog

Rob is a friend of mine and I have followed this project from it's infancy to it's current stage. The current hack with explanatory docs can be seen at http://www.kudla.org/raindog/pac26.html

Rob also has other 2600 hacks and original programs including "Arcade Space Invaders" as well as a version of Amiga's "Boing!" demo.

It is definitely uncool and unfair to attribute this great hack and creation of a New 2600 pacman to another author. Please Please set the record straight and do right by fellow classic gaming enthusiasts who actually make this stuff for ALL to enjoy and give proper credit where credit is due.

Thanks to Franklin for trying to look out for me but thanks also to Shane for not mentioning my name without asking first! You always run a quality show and as far as I'm concerned you guys are the original.

Anyway, the hack in the show sure looks like mine but weirder things have happened ;) If it isn't then apologies to Ron Corcoran or the unnamed person he gave his code to; I don't want to take credit for anyone else's work/play.

We got things straightened out and everything will come up roses on the next show. Thanks to Rob for his quick response and email!

Coincidence, chance, and damn bad luck sometimes messes things up.

Yeah, and they stole the idea for a CDROM compilation from ME. This is a bunch of BULLSHIT.

Despite what Emuchrist and their lot says, I've never stolen anything from them. In fact, I've listened to exactly ONE show, been to their site EXACTLY 5 times (mostly in LEGAL dispute). Them putting up a poorly coded immature Shockwave movie featuring the ability to shoot my head (that they probably cut and stole from a Shockwave tutorial site or book) doesn't make them any sort of innovators. If you look throught the annals of history, you will find that anything they claim to be 'first' with was in fact done by myself at one time or another. I was using macromedia technology before Rant Radio even came into existance.

If you want to believe what they say, fine. But before you post things publically, perhaps you should check your FACTS first.

I'm about tired of this crap. Notice who is professional enough to use their real names, not hide behind aliases. Notice who posts publically and takes care of their listeners.

I'm sick of this stupid argument. I don't care about their show, a majority of my listeners hate everything that Emuchrist and Rant Radio stand for. I'm not missing anything in life ignoring them. Seems funny they can't do the same.

RantRadio was doing that a few months ago right before EmuChrist went down.

Whatever, I could of done that Shockwave game too just by cut and pasting from other folks Shockwave codes but I'd rather do something new, fresh, and original - and of my own work, talent, sweet, and tears.

So f*** off Rant Radio! Leave the scene and let the true talents such of the folks behind shows like Retro Radio, Zophar's Underworld, etc etc be the TRUE voice of the emu scene.

Until next time, dream to aspire... aspire to dream...

Does that mean that no other emulation site can have comments for their news articles?

Does that mean that no other emulation site can
have little images right next to their news?

Does that mean that no other emulation site can have a rumor section?

It sure as hell would be crap to develop a technology for only one person to use it, and the rest be damned by the public for 'stealing' the idea.
