Hu-Go! 1.09 is out! - February 05,2000 by JoseQ
A new version of Hu-Go! has been released. You can download version 1.09 from the Emulator Download Page. This release includes some improvements on the GUi making it almost 'functionable', Audio CD Playing is now possible under Linux, and a couple of memory handling errors that were causing the emu not to work properly when initializing and uncontrolled exits. I've been wondering if anyone would be willing to capture some audio tracks from these games and provide them to me in mp3 format so that I could make them available on the page. Is there any PC Engine emu that does this? How about C64 emus?

This new version seens to handle ISO rips better than the last version. I have tried the old version with about 30 different rips and got 2 or 3 to work. With this new version, I have gotten every rip I own working. About 32 so far! Great job! Now if it only supported multiple drives......wink wink, nudge, nudge, say no more...

Hey Jose,
Download SidPlay for Windows at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/5147/sidplay/windows.html ... then load your favourite SID file and save it as a WAV file. Convert it to a MP3 using your favourite compressor, and voila !! A perfect C64 MP3. Also check out http://www.c64audio.com for some fantastic C64 tune remixes in MP3 format. Enjoy!
