Connectix Wins Appeal! - February 10,2000 by JoseQ
In what has been the usual ruling lately in emulation cases surrounding the Sony Playstation, Connectix had a big win today when a court reversed it's original ruling, and recognized reverse engineering as a "commong, legitimate and valuable development practice, protected under law". This certainly means a lot for Connectix (as well as bleem!) who had been ordered to stopthe selling of their Macintosh emulator and stopped fromdistributing a Windows version. As of today, the Virtual Gamestation is out for sale again on their website, and soon to be found again in stores. The Windows version should be appearing soon. Thanks to Aaron Giles for the good news!
