New Vice! - July 29,2000 by JoseQ
The Commodore emulator known as Vice has been updated to version 1.5! You can get both the DOS and Windows versions from the Emulator Download Page. Binaries for OS/2, BeOS, Unix and others are available from the Vice site. New in this version is a screenshot saving function, Z80 emulation improvements allowing CP/M to boot now. The DOS and Windows versions have better support for compressed images, and drive fixes. There's more, so be sure to check out the history file! Enjoy!

I'm so pleased with this new release of VICE the C64 emulator! I've had to stay with version 1.1 for the past year because subsequent versions have been unstable (at least on my K6-350) I'm happy to say, VICE is one of the best C64 emulators available. (If they would ONLY add support for more RAM, like CCS64 has!!!) - seeya!
