ZSNES for Windows progress... - August 03,2000 by JoseQ
The ZSNES website has been updated with a set of screenshots from the Windows port. The author mentions that progress is going quite well, and by the looks of it, the statement is obvious. Apparently how it works is by opening a borderless window and showing ZSNES within itself. No Windows menus, but the ones we're already used to. Those with high performance video cards may expect to even see a performance boost when this version is made public, although that's just my assumption since no mention of it has been made. Also, there's no mention of a possible release date... Hopefully it'll happen soon. Check it out! Thanks to David of Retrogames for the news!

Hell yeah, it looks sweet. I'm glad they decided to keep the original look of the DOS version.

Good work ZSNES team!
