More PC Engine games! - August 03,2000 by JoseQ
167 new Japanese PC Engine games have been added to the local collections here at EmuViews. You can get to them via the ROMs and ROMs Lite areas. While these are Japanese versions of the games, you might recognize favorites such as: "P-47", "Populous", "Street Fighter II: CE" (and it's spoof "Strip Fighter II"), "Atomic Robo-Kid" and much more. Check out your favorite ROM area for the downloads. These are small sized files, so hopefully they'll go easy on the bandwidth. Oh by the way, if you wish to see just the new ones, filter out the games for "PC Engine" and get the list to show only for version 1.28.

WTG Jose! The TG-16 was remarkable for it's time and many of it's games hold a special place in a lot of hearts. This is one area that many emu sites either barely cover, or don't cover at all.

What's really a trip was that the TG-16 had an 8-bit CPU and acomplished many of it's graphical (16 bit )feats via ingenious programming....

Living in the UK it was almost impossible to get hold of a PC-Engine, I remember drooling over screen-shots in magazines when they came out. Even now they fetch a pretty-penny on EBay.
