SYS2064 is 3! - August 04,2000 by JoseQ
Please join me in congratulating Till Oldemeyer in running one of the oldest Emulation Sites still standing around with a great track record: SYS2064. Till has done a great job keeping up the site for a great period of time, from even before I got into emulation, so major Kudos to him for that. There's just one question though: What will happen in the year 2065? Well, probably nothing. 20th Century Fox is still around, although is the turn of the century at the end of "this" year??

Congratulations to Till. SYS2064 has always been a great news site, which concentrated on the essential news.

My "theory" on the name SYS2064:
SYS 2064 is a Commodore 64 command used to start many games after loading them from the cassette recorder or the 1541 disk drive :-)

Till, keep up your superb work!

You're right, a lot of people forgot about the C64 already and it's nice to see that some remember.. :)

Thanks again,
Till.

Congratulations to SYS2064 for lasting three years! I've been involved in emulation for the last 3 years or so, and there are only a handful of sites that have remained active over that whole time -- and SYS2064 is one of them. That in itself is an achievement. Here's to at least another three years :)
