MESS32 is also at 0.37b5 now... - August 07,2000 by JoseQ
MESS32 has been updated to be up to par with the latest MESS release. It is available for download from the Emulator Download Page. This puts the Windows port right up there with the latest MAME and MESS builds. Other than that, it also has a new GUI with software picker, and there's also a work around for a bug which caused emulation to stop on the disclaimer screens. I have had some weird problems running previous MESS32 versions on Windows 2000 and I would like to see this one work better. Have any of you found any problems/solutions with MESS32 and not being able to go back to Windows? Oh by the way, thanks to Richard Bannister in the EV Chat for the news.

This version seems the most stable yet (although I'm running Win98 rather than NT or 2000). I've been playing around with it a lot since last night and am really impressed! However, I cant for the life of me get the Vectrex games to run. Anyone else have this problem and/or possible solutions?

Same problem here. Sometimes it would kill the taskbar and wiped out windows 2000 screen. when it refreshes itself some of my icons changed.

BTW, How in the hel l do you get MSX to work? I got all the bios but says missing or wrong bios... Audit checks says everything pass.

nuff says.

I have been having problems with previous MESS versions when leaving the quitting it on NT 4. It did not clean up the memory after itself nor could I kill the task. My only chance was to reboot. I have reports from other people having similar problems. I hope this version will work around this problem.
