New PSX Emulator? - August 21,2000 by JoseQ
I just visited Emulatronia (Spanish Emulation Site) which is showcasing a new Playstation emulator for Windows programmed by the likes of: Charlie, Zulu and Tango (apparently code names). The emulator is being called "EPSXE". There are a couple of screenshots available (check out where it lists some game names like: "Driver", "Soul Blade" among others). Features listed include: Sound, MDEC, Memory Cards, PSEmu Pro Plug-in support. There is no website for the emulator, and I really can't tell if the webmaster took the screenshots himself or were sent by the guys listed above. PTS says it should come out soon, and for free. I'll keep you posted.

I took a look at the pictures at Emulatronia. Very, very high quality. I sincerely hope this is the real thing -- but I don't presume to know either way, so like everyone else, I'll wait and see what turns up.
