News @ FPSE! - August 30,2000 by JoseQ
The FPSE site was updated today by LDChen. He re-assures everyone that the emulator is not dead and what you should expect to see and not see next. Expect not to see version 0.8 but in it's place you should be happy to expect version 0.9 to come out with higher compatibility, XA and MDec audio support, working SPU output and he even goes out as far as to say that it will include the fastest dynamic recompiler ever created (I would assume he means for a PSX emulator). There's more on the news update, so if you're a Playstation emulation fan you should definitely be on your way there. Did I mention that I'm beginning to buy PSX games to use with bleem! and bleemcast? I haven't been able to boot back into Windows 98 to give the games a try, but I am certainly looking forward to it. And no, I don't have early bleemcast copies...
