Final Burn 0.011! - September 07,2000 by JoseQ
While sitting in the EV Chat, RetroLover informed us of release version 0.010 of Final Burn, the only After Burner emulator in existence. Just after getting back from lunch, I find that version 0.011 is out now as well. You can get this new binary from the Emulator Download Page. This version fixes a palette problem with those running a 555 16-bit display. Also, if you're running on an 8-bit display, the colors will be wrong (16-bit display is required). There is also a new 44.1KHz and Bass filter options although they require a high end machine. If you have it, use it. Get your download going! Thanks to all those that pointed out version 0.011 being released.

Just a quick note to all the people asking why Turbo Outrun isnt being looked at, its because the roms are protected and encrypted and dave said hes not going to waste his time trying to decrypt all the roms, which is fair enough.
Congratulations on emulating my all time favourite game though, finished it last night for the first time, never managed to do that in the arcade in 2 credits ;)
Roll on Power Drift :)

Thanks Dave :)

I think its great that you added this feature. I think Im gona have to install those 'Bass-Shakers' under my chair soon... :)

A currious note: Once in a while - the Emu seems to 'skip'. I dont see any visual indication... but the sound does a 'skip'. Maybe this is a timing issue... and maybe thats why the engine noise stays on - because the timing to turn it off isnt sync'ed ? Ahh - What do I know... I cant program my way out of a cardboard box :)

What exactly do they define as a high end for the Bass filter and 44.1khz? Will it work on high end Celerons or just P3's?
