Subject: The amazing Amiga
From:
I Have a Intel Pentium III at 450MHz, a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! Value and 128MB RAM running at 100MHz, the previous release of WinUAE worked fine, this one seems to be better, but unfortunatly, the sound works badly, much worse than the previous version. In WinUAE 8.8r8, I used the WaveOut Looping option, wich is removed in this version. It seems to work fine with the buffering value of 5, but the sound is not in syncronization with the graphics-output. Either it's a bug or a hardware issue, anyway, it makes it impossible for me to play the Amiga, my real one is broken and the best emulator doesen't work properly. Please Help, the Amiga is my favorite machine of all time, and I cannot play my games on this new emulator, and the old one hasen't got some good features of the new one. It's a shame. :-(

this is too bad... I just started last nite converting my old configs to work with the new release and from what I've seen so far every game has worked flawlessly or with major improvemnet! tho 3 stooges and galga are not in my collection (I tend to visit the original system for the game, mame in these cases ;)

I'm going to continue converting and hope I don't run into any probs... I do feel like giving these games a try tho... from what I've seen so far I'm very impressed!!

floppy acceleration
sound interpolation
halfbrite fix in several games
sprite collision

man I know I saw more but I can't remember them now cause I'm at work and hurrying before the boss gets back LOL
