Second after-shock! TRWin! - September 15,2000 by JoseQ
Well, this might not be related at all to the FPSE situation of previous articles, but probably to the state of the Emulation Scene right now. In his very funny update on the TRWin website, rcp jokes about quitting the scene. Nevertheless he gives us a nice update on the state of TRWin. The MIPS core from KIAME has been ported into TRWin although that didn't have much of an effect on speed (although it should be cleaner anyhow). rcp continues saying that he needs to spend some solid time on the emulator, probably during October or November before a release can occur. Check out the site, you will probably enjoy his update.

That update really cracked me up! It was a perfect
imatitation of Reality-Loser. It's nice to know that
some of the emu programers are more mature than to let
a few lamers scare them off. Personally, I'd about bet
that people that work for the game companies like
Nintendo send these negative e-mails to the emu authors
just to get them discouraged from working on the emulator.
I know that most of the response to ultra HLE has been
positive, and to get pissed over a few stupid rumors &
hate mail is really childish. Just like what happened
with Impact. That emulator had alot of promice, till the
authors pitched a temper tantrum. Those guys should really
chill out.
