System32 Emulator! - December 04,2000 by JoseQ
Well, as it was rumored before on the 'scene' and on the Rumor Mill, the System32 emulator has been released as-is. The file has been posted on the Impact Emulator page (linked above). There is documentation available within the archive on how to set it up. I will be posting some of those games that are playable, most are not though. This is as good a System32 emulator as you will find as of now, although the sources were sent to another author, which I suspect is the SMOG dude. We'll see how this works out! Thanks to ivilded for the news!

There are a few Roms at http://www.laseremu.com/sys32.html
I couldn't get Rad Mobile to work either, the emu crashed after about five seconds. :(

Yes, finally. Although I think the source should have been released ages ago..at least it was released. I hope the author of Smog really takes this emulator to the next step.

Let's hope this is the start of an emu like System 16. Have romz like Outrunners and G-Loc even been dumped yet ?

G-Loc was dumped as well but when Dave looking into it either it was a bad dump or it was protected..

Go to www.arcadeheaven.com and go to the System 32 rom links. I tried the one I downloaded from ShinobiZ a while back (the redump) but somehow the coins can't be inserted even though I press 1. It runs the attract mode. The set I got from arcadeheaven crashes the emu completely, so I don't know what to say. This emu needs a CRC system like MAME has since I had to rename many rom names yesterday, but I'm glad it's out. Am I the only one having color problems with Golden Axe: The Return of Death Adder?

Nope.. The Emu itself has the problems sine it was never finished.. Has Anyone got Rad Mobile to show something instead of crashing the emu within first 5 secs?

I must say i've just experimented the emulator and it's still not good enough.Yet, it's a marvellouse piece of programming, and with some aditional work and dedication, this can become one of the most loved emulators of all.
(well, mine is always going to be an amiga emulator, 'cos i'm absolutlly nuts about that old 500)

It's called "Golden Axe: The Return Of Death Adder".. NOT Golden Axe II, GA2 was a "sequel" done on the Genesis/Megadrive.

Technicly, it's the _third_ Golden Axe sequel, (with Golden Axe III on the Genesis being the fourth, not third)

I'm glad to see this finally come out, was the first good thing that happened for me today. I hope someone with a lot of know-how on System 32 like ShinobiZ or someone else could continue it. Maybe make an emu called System 32 like he did with System 16. Well, thanks to everyone who contributed to the emu. This is what I consider the crown jewel since knowing how to emulate the System 32 games will probably make it easier for SMOG and other emulation. Plus I was waiting to play these games again for a long time and games like Captain America also use the V60 chip (and can now be worked on). Thanks again.
