Genital 1.0! - December 14,2000 by JoseQ
I got a note tonight from Bart telling me about a new version of Genital. Yes! This is the actual Genesis emulator and not a programming library. You can download this version from the Emulator Download Page right now! There's so many changes that is difficult to list them all. Here's some of the highlights: New Custom Save State format, Much faster Mode X code (rewritten), added support for .GEN Genesis files. Those wondering about the Sega CD work Bart had done which was mentioned in the Rumor Mill; that preliminary driver was removed from the build along with another preliminary Sega 32X driver. Check out the documentation for the full list of changes, but most importantly, enjoy!

Correction, was. :)

I removed Sega CD support from Genital and moved it to a separate standalone project, Disco. I eventually lost the motivation to work on Disco, and rewrote Genital using the source tree structure of Disco.

Any chance to have the source of Disco ?
