Daily NeoPocott Report! - December 21,2000 by JoseQ
The NeoPocott website was updated again today, this time with real result numbers from the new graphic engine optimizations by Mic. Would you believe a near 60% improvement in frames per second on a Pentium 3 running at 733MHz. The update also lists some changes going into the various ports, such as: FPS Counter, and optimizations for sprite sorting. The BeOS port seems to be 98% done, so that's definitely music to the BeOS user ears. Check out the website for a detailed list of progress items!

Thanks for the great emulator, but what about the sound support, we need to hear the sfx and music you know. :)

It seems the only non-SNK licsensed person that knows the secrets of the sound chip in the NeoGeo pocket is the Japanese author of NGPocket.

All amateur coders that I know of do not know how the sound chip works (myself included).

Rather A Pokemon Emulator, MHE, and NeoPoccott all lack the sound feature because of this.
