Step by Step for FPSE! - January 06,2001 by JoseQ
These bit of news I missed while I was away on Holidays, but you shouldn't miss it. ePSXe has on their site a Step-by-Step guide to get the emulator up and running in 5 minutes! It looks to be very organized and sure to be helpful, specially when you're telling your non-emulation friend that there's a very cool Playstation emulator out there that they could use. Be sure to check it out, even if you already have it running, you may find yourself optimizing your setup a bit.

Im using ePsxe and it works very well. I had to screw with it for about ten minutes to get it to work, but I got die hard trilogy to work and Gran turismo 2 to work. The games play just as well or better for me than they do on my playstation. I noticed that if your discs are scratched they dont seem to work as well on the emu, but they work fine on the playstation.

Will you be able to upload the CPS2 roms (the ones that work with Final Burn) to your site at all?

Just Asking.

Why isn't the EV Board accessible right now?

It was being flooded by lamers, so I will only put it back when I can recode it.

That's a shame. I hope it'll be up soon. Good luck JoseQ!

Jose, have you ever gotten this emulator to work? All I've had is major CDROM headaches and no one seems to be addressing them. Let us know if you got it to work. :)

I did get it to work with the first version using a small ISO file someone lent me. I haven't got it to work with my games though, but I only have two of them though. =(
