More Hot Rods coming in! - January 12,2001 by JoseQ
It seems Computer's Worth's sale price on HanaHo's Hot Rod is going great, but if you want to take advantage of this low price, you have to act soon. They already ran out of stock once and are getting more in shortly, but quantities are limited. As you know, I'm a big fan of HanaHo's hardware and this stick definitely carries Qmeister's Seal of Approval, and for just $99, it has two of them. If you would like to read my ReView about it from last year, here's a link to it. If you got money for Christmas, this is a great thing to put your money on. You won't regret it.

Subject: HotRod SE incompatability?
From: 213.108.30.4
Hi,

I just bought a HotRod SE. A great product, but I have a problem. The player 1 joystick doesn't work in MAME (everything else does including player 2 joystick), but does work in the HANAHO test program and DOS prompt, plus the CAPCOM package that comes with the HotRod. I've altered settings for controllers in MAME but makes no difference. What can I do?? Is there a conflict between MAME and the Capcom program?

Many thanks,
John.

Yes, the hotrod looks like a nice stick,
but I can hardly wait for the new stick it
thats due out in april for <80 bux. That
puppy has a spinner on it which would own for
games like tempest, gyruss, arkanoid, etc.
Has anyone done a full blown comparison between
a stick it and a hotrod? Dont play favorites people...
