Vampire Saviour is here! - January 23,2001 by JoseQ
Wondering where you can find "Vampire Saviour" to play with Final Burn. Look no further than EmuViews for your single file, 24MB download. I have just added it to the ROMs and ROMs Lite pages so that you can get one of the most sought after files on the net today, on a very fast connection. Hurry, since I'm not sure how long that file will be up there. Hopefully it'll last long enough for most of you to get it, so if you don't have it already, be sure to get it now.

I live in Portugal, wich is in Europe, I have a Cable Modem and I tryed to donwload this game from this link. I managed to download about 12% of it before I got a notice window saying that the site refused the connection), at arround 2.5 kb/s, wich is TOO SLOW. At that speed, it would take 2 hours to download the game. It's pitty, I was looking forward to this game, and I can't find it anywere else. (maybe in Arcade@Home, but aldogh good, it's even SLOWER than this link. I just wonder why.

Sorry, this afternoon I re-configured the FTP server a few times, and had to restart the service each time. Connections during that time were cut, so probably it was one of those times. You should have been able to resume though.

I tried posting this on the board, but for some reason my text doesn't show.

ANYWAY,

Dave, since this seems to be one of your favorite hangouts. Why not tell JoseQ where to get the roms your working on?
This would allow him to post a FinalBurn WIP download eliminating the HUGE (Where do I get the ROM's) question.
Also it would mean shorter DL time since people could DL at their convenience instead of everyone from one place when the link is posted!
Anyway

THANKS both of you.

I agree with Frogacuda... Secondly, it is not my preferred hobbie to have these kinds of downloads available first. Hosting this type of file is incredibly expensive as the bandwidth usage for SpeedHost as a whole doubles just because of that file. I'm just doing it now because we're close to the end of the month, and on average, and well below what I am paying to use, so might as well put it to good use.

However, don't expect me to post files right out of the bar, and as an EmuViews policy, I never post WIP files, meaning if the emulator is not out yet, or if it's even not emulated in a playable fashion (such as the System 1 or System 32 games).

From time to time, I do have goodies like this, but it is very likely than on the first of next month, they go offline.

Dave, as an emu author, has to watch his step. If he were to make such an arrangement, at the very least it would be in his best intrest not to be public about it.
