AGES W.I.P. - January 26,2001 by JoseQ
The Ages website was updated today with some news about the emulator. The author has made available a translation kit, if you want to help make Ages available into other language. So if you're bi-lingual, be sure to try and make your contribution. Secondly, a very nice screenshot of "Robo Aleste" (Sega CD Game) is shown on the website, so you just have to go there and see that. As mentioned in the Rumor Mill, Quinntesson plans to make a release "sometime soon". Thanks to Emulation H.Q. for the news.

If memmory recalls the the number of GOOD Sega CD games were far less then the number of 32X games total, you know what games I thought didn't suck on Sega CD, the Lunar games, and Silpheed! thats it, the rest blew!
Ages as a SegaCD emu, can a hard blow one!
Ages as a 32X emulator, is good!
Ages as Both, will be tolerated because it would have 32X

It's a piss poor emu anyway, I can't wait for someone else to release a GOOD 32x Emu. multiple emulators are good....when either emulation works even halfassed

Would you guys quit screaming about ages 32x support? The 32x had like 10 games for it! Let him concentrate on cd support since its unemulated except in ages, plus there are tons more and better games for it. There are other 32x emus but not other sega cd ones.

No. People want it emulated still, it's the equivelant of having elite IMPACT hoarding that certain rom set and making people waggling around for it. He should just say it's dead for now instead of insinuating a return.

That's a better excuse for him to not do it then doing it. Your saying a medium which is less hard to find deserves less respect then the popular one, which several people disagree with.
That sound very biased on your part btw.

Hmmm...let's see....only GensX is trying to do 32X, while your precious Sega Cd has Ages, SegaEmu is developing it, VGEN is developing it, and even a Gens-X is doing it.

Yah that's a good reason, you are totally biased to 32X lovers.

Robo Aleste is FYI a sequel (sort of) to M.U.S.H.A. aka "Alesta: Fullmetal Fighter Elinore" in japan.. IT's from Compile, the same company that did Zanac and The Guardian Legend... (and a whole bunch of other cool shooters as well)

Don't forget the SMS games Power Strike, Power Strike 2, and Golvellius. Those games rocked.
