bwb leaves Emulation H.Q. - January 31,2001 by JoseQ
While Qmeister had this in the bag for some time, we were all surprised either earlier or just now, by the sudden retirement of bwb from Emulation H.Q.. Ben Welch-Bolen, or bwb as we know him, has owned Emulation H.Q. (one of the best emulation sites in my opinion) since it's inception being a great part of the ring of emulation websites that deliver quality content to the fans. Even though we're competitors in the sense that we both do the same thing, EmuHQ and EmuViews have always had great friendship. It's going to be weird not having bwb around to e-mail him about the Rumor Mill. Could he really quit the scene? I can't imagine me doing that kind of move, but who knows. Could JoseQ's EmuViews turn into just "EmuViews"?
As part of Emulation H.Q.'s leaving, PeterD (another very cool guy) will be taking over the head position at the site. He will surely be recruiting some help, so if you think you have what it takes, be sure to present your credentials to the dude. Best of luck to bwb in his new endeavors, and the same to PeterD on the future of EmuHQ. May the Force be with you both.

hah elders, weird term for someone who is 19 :)

I started the Unofficial UltraHLE Project and that eventually morphed into EmuHQ. I also worked and started ReviewClick although that is dead now.
