Hu-Go 2.00! - January 31,2001 by JoseQ
A new version of Hu-Go!, dedicated to bwb for his good deeds in the scene, has been released. Windows and DOS binaries are available for download from the Emulator Download Page. Linux versions as well as the source will follow suit, possibly as soon as tomorrow. This version restores the hard BIOS support feature and improves the pad support and ability to remap buttons on your Pad or keyboard. There's Eagle and Scanlines added to the Linux versions. Also in this release is restored save/load feature including some improvements to it and more. Be sure to check out the Changes file for all the details. Thanks to Eric Fichot for the news!

I got started in the emulation scene back in 97
looking for a tg-16 emulator. Well I found Hugo
and it was a big disappointment as it's features
were limited. I moved on to other emulators, and
now I have most all of them and the roms on my
system around 30 gigs worth. The point is, after
all this time, I have NEVER got HuGo to work good
enough to keep it on my computer, and i've tried
every version since it came out, on 4 different
machines. Now it locks up on my 1gig Athlon system.
I wish emulator authors would take a clue from the
guys that made neoragex and put a decent GUI with
the emulator... thats more important than adding
half working games.
