Raine32 is out! - February 01,2001 by JoseQ
Want to pick up the latest of Raine? Well, you'll have to wait a while for that. But the Windows version is here! This version is in sync with the yet unreleased DOS version! You can download it from the Emulator Download Page right now! There's 9 new games supported which I will list below. There's also full sound support in the Cave games and preliminary F3 sound in a long list of games thanks to Emmanual Anne! Check out the whatsnew.txt for the whole details. Here's the list of new games as promised:

  • Battle K-Road [Emmanuel Anne]
  • Biomechanical Toy [Eugenio Derenzi]
  • Dodonpachi [Emmanuel Anne, Antiriad]
  • Gals Panic [Lag]
  • Gun Bird [Eugenio Derenzi, Emmanuel Anne]
  • Guwange [Emmanuel Anne]
  • Saboten Bombers [Paolo]
  • Sengoku Ace [Eugenio Derenzi, Emmanuel Anne]
  • Silkworm [Lag]

Thanks to Atani for his post in the Rumor Mill comments!

One Article Up: Raine 0.30 (DOS) is out!

has anyone managed to get it in windowed mode? all screenshots i saw were in windowed. also doesn't seem to hold a config... (and doesn't seem to like hand editing the cfg file ^_^ )

it is fun to mess with in any case!

Select from the video config panel, "DirectX GDI" and it will show in a window.

As for the config file, it should be called config\rainex.cfg. If you do hand edit it, please be aware that the settings in there are not all used. It is best to do the editing from within the GUI if possible.

The DOS and Linux versions were released a couple of hours ago, too.
