Please you all give Dave the time to release finalburn 0.097. Maybe today, maybay tomorrow, maybe about 2 months or maybe NEVER ----> You guys should be glad that you can play a game en you guys should be glad that he makes it possible to play beautifull games like X-Men COTA, SFZ, etc. If you agree with Final Burn you must agree too that Daves stops emulating. It is his choise and we must respect that.
He is a human just like you and me, and if he stops he stops. Sorry about my bad Englisch, it's because I'm Dutch.

I suggest that everyone else does the same and in doing so maintain a little respect for Dave and his exceptional skills. Well done Dave - I for one think you are doing a fine job.

I'm not sure I understand what's going on?
I understand that Dave has commented 0.097 Yeah Right!
And I understand that it's because of this stupid fu**ing patch.
What I don't understand is why are people saying that this is hacking Daves code?
As far as I understand No-one is hacking Daves code, Just renaming the roms.
Why is this considered hacking Daves code?
Why does Dave care about the patch?
Reminds me when the Afterburner cheat was revealed that allowed unlimited lives.

I think it's disgusting the fools that keep bitching even after Dave has hinted that it might all be over.

I'd just like to thank Dave for everything he has done for the true Final Burn fans, Dave there are many of us that didn't bother with the patch and even if you never release another ver. will not bother with it!

I've got a suggestion, Don't emulate SSF2, Skip it and in your next release make it impossible to do a patch like this again.

This would be a reminder for those who used the damn patch.

Thanks Again Dave

By yelling at the dude to get some stupid cheesy ass game called thunderblade. That game sucks anyways!! Its kinda funny cause he knows you guys want that game done. Its says it on his site. Why don't all you little bastards (you know the ones im talkin abotu..its obvious) shutup and go play all the other thousands of illegal games you downloaded on other emulators you have. Now you got some dude hackin up a patch to run ssf2 on it. I refuse to do it!

Hi!
I got http://babelfish.altavista.com to translate the file included in the patch from http://www.emumania.com, and it says you can map the kicks to Player 3 down, left and right directions.
Haven't tried it yet (am about to), but wanted everyone who keeps moaning to be a bit happier in life.

(Dave, you release .0097 when you're good and ready - a lot of us really appreciate the work you do!)

Just to confirm the above, here are the assignments you will need to make under Input to get the "standard" key mapping:-

(SSF2 Move) DDTOD Move Button
============ ========== ======
(Light Kick) - P3 Right - Z
(Med Kick) - P3 Left - X
(Heavy Kick) - P3 Down - C
(Light Punch) - P1 Attack - A
(Med Punch) - P1 Jump - S
(Heavy Punch) - P1 Use - D

(best to copy this and paste it to notepad or something for a non-proportional font)

There is a patch to play SSF2 on FB at

http://www.emumania.com

Just run the patch with SSF2.zip unzipped in the folder and then rezip and I changed the name to

ddtod.zip

and put it into it's own "roms" folder and rename the original rom folder to something else like (rom -with no s)

Enjoy...but it only has the 3 punch buttons no kicking allowed...ha Ha...
HOW GOOD ARE YOU?

Dave is QUITE aware of your desires to have Thunderblade finished, and he chooses to work on other things at the moment. Frankly, the way some people keep demanding Thunderblade, I wouldn't be surprised if he was deliberately holding off on it. Wait and be patient, Thunderblade WILL be finished when he feels up to doing so, or someone else writes an emulator for them.

How can anyone complain that Dave is lazy?! He's already proven that he's not by releasing back to back to back updates for Final Burn on numerous occasions. Everyone seems to want instant gratification. Now I don't know much about programing but I do realize that you can't snap your fingers and have it done. It takes time. So everyone, and this is just a suggestion, should relax, play all those other games you illegally have and wait. I'm sure Dave has better things to do with his time than writing code just to here people complain when it's not done fast enough.
