Modeler 0.1.0a! - February 12,2001 by JoseQ
A new version of Modeler has been officially released from the website. You can download the Windows version from the Emulator Download Page right now. The Linux version you can get from the Modeler download area. This version supports "Sonic", "Spiderman", "Golden Axe 2" and "Star Wars" although that last one isn't playable. I'll take a look at those and if I can find the ROMs and the emulation quality is quite good, I'll be sure to post them on the site later today.

You don't need a new romset.
Just rename the 3 so called missing roms manually or with a Romtool, like Romcenter and a recent dat-file (www.romcenter.com).
Good luck.

Golden Axe 2 works in the earlier version, however, it did not work in this version.

I don't know about you guys but Spiderman seemed more corrupt than in the previous version of Modeler.. In the last version I could see the character and the bad guys ok while the background gfx were messed up.. this time everything was messed up..

I would try downloading the new version released same day - otherwise make sure you are on 16bit high colour and also that the graphic mode is set correct (Eagle - Scanlines etc)

Have fun with it and let the goodtimes roll

I`m afraid not, the 2D engine of the model1 games is getting along great, just dont hold your breath for the 3D graphics

Good Work

I think we need a bit of stability right now and the work on this emulator has been hard and steady

I look forward to more releases shortly - working on old 8bit computers and there use of "sprites" I am sure the priority issues in Spiderman etc will be rectified prety quickly - as for graphic corruption - well that will take time.

But what can I say - fantastic and well done
