VAntAGE 1.11 - February 26,2001 by JoseQ
A new version of VAntAGE has been released. You can download release 1.11 from the Emulator Download Page right now. This seems like it's going to be the last update for VAntAGE from Brian Lewis as he has found himself going 'full circle', moving back to original arcade boards and distancing himself from emulation. You should read his post as he might have a very good point when it comes to why you are into emulation. Check out the main PC2Jamma site for that. On the other hand, he does have a good release for you to download, so be sure to try it out and enjoy!

YOU WILL BE SURELY MISSED!
Brian has helped me {sometimes unknowingly} with all kinds of problems that I have had over the years with my arcade machines. His ArcadeOS front end is the ONLY front end I'll ever use even on my win machines.
Vantage actually gave me something to do with all my old PC hardware that would have been otherwise tossed.
And lastly the fact that we have lost one of the few DOS people in the emulation world is a true shame. I totally agree with him though, I too own a few real machines and their aint nothing like PB2 on a real machine. Maybe one-day emulation will have a comparable counterpart but I doubt it for systems like that.
CHEERS TO YOU Brian! Have fun and hope to see you pop in from time to time.

I raise my glass.....
