WinUAE News... - March 24,2001 by JoseQ
The WinUAE website was updated today with a status update about the next version, 0.8.16. This version now has "Direct" mode for JIT. It also has virtual Picasso96 screens, merged changes from the core UAE tree, support for multiple mice is being worked on, MIDI Input support and more. Check out the site through the link above for the complete list. There's probably something there to further please Amiga fans, so check it out!

Hey Jose, not trying to be a dick here-
but why dont you remove the roms & rom-lite links. Its kind of dumb to have them up on your main page and then let the person waste their time try to get a game. I would appreciate it & I'm sure others would as well. This is now a NEWS only site right? thankyou for reading and let the flames begin.

No flames from me here, but If I recall correctly Jose said that he kept the links open so people can still look at the ratings and screenshots and that sort of thing. Plus you never know roms might come back. Hell I think I remember Jose saying some roms will be back but not to the extent he had before. Feel free to correct me JoseQ.

You are correct on all counts. The ROM pages are still a good resource to find game names, screenshots, arcade flyers, and ratings. And yes, they will come back.
