Xanadu with Kaillera!!! - April 03,2001 by JoseQ
Kyle has released version 0.6 of Xanadu with support for Kaillera network play!!! You can get this version from the Bliss site (linked above). This version will also let you play single player games, but you will need to use the command line for that. However, I'm sure you'll want to get a match of "Baseball" or "Boxing" with a friend of yours. If you're an Intellivision fan, be sure to come back and let us know how it works out for you. Enjoy!

FYI, Xanadu is for Win32. It's a complete C++/Win32 rewrite of Bliss.

Hey Kyle Great Emu, its also awesome to see some retro-games in Network play!

I was curious about smth though, I had problems playing "Groovy!" and "Melody Blaster", i was curious if it has do do with incompatibility, my iggnorance, or a bad rom. I noticed that it didnt mention anything about ECS concerning these 2 games.

Thanks Alot for your Work
its appreciated :)

Groovy! is just a programming example of how to play an audio sample on the Intellivision, so it doesn't do anything beyond just saying "Groovy!" at the title screen

Melody Blaster, though, along with Dreadnaught Factor are the last two games out of 170 some-odd cartridges made for the Intellivision that do not work in Bliss and Xanadu because of unknown emulation inaccuracies. I'm actually focusing on finding the problems with these two games now, however, so I'll probably be able to finally claim 100% compatibility in the next release. :-)

No problem! I'm glad you enjoy it. :-)

Last I checked it is Win32/DirectX 8. What Xanadu are you playing?
