New PSX Emulation Technology! - May 15,2001 by JoseQ
Have you ever wanted to play a Playstation game over the net using an emulator? Soon you will be able to do so in not one, but a number of existing Playstation emulators! How? Using a new plug-in by the name of CyberPad. This new technology works as the PSEmu Pro PAD plug-in and will allow you to play PSX games over the net, using emulators that support that PSEmu plug-in. If you want to learn more about it, PSXEmu has a story about it, or check the website linked above. Definitely exciting stuff.

Lewpy's Plugin is the fastest with 3dfx cards but it has gliches in many games ...
i recommend you to try Pete's D3D-Plugin, that works also in good speed and maybe it fix your problem.
The bios isn't the problem, because the game communicate with the hardware directly, it don't need the bios for that.

hi!

I have a p2-333mhz and a v3 2000 and ePSXe works perfect here. With Lewpy's 3dfx Plugin i get up to 60 fps in-game.
If someone say he don't get full speed with a processor with more than 500mhz he has simply configurate it wrong.

I actually switch between ePSXe and VGS for my PSX emu needs. For true compatibility I go with VGS, but if a game works in ePSXe..then I go with it. For me Pete's OpenGL plugins..and the built in SPA for sound work great on my lil ole Celery450 and a GeForce256. I usually play at 800x600 with no FSAA at 32bit color.

With those settings I hit and stay at 60fps according to Pete's FPS counter in his plugin.

Not sure why others seem to think that a really high end system is needed. However, in all fairness I haven't played any of the racing games in ePSXe. I am an RPG guy and so I don't play too many racing games.
