Modeler WIP Info - June 04,2001 by JoseQ
A lot of cool stuff happening over at the Modeler website! The latest changes include the fixing of the title screen on "Golden Axe 2" although it had some weird side effects. There's also sound fixes for "Outrunners", better shadows in GA2, and more. There's even talk about when we should expect a release, and that is when development has slowed down a bit. That's not all! They also have new message boards! Be sure to check out the site for all the details, new pictures in the gallery and the new messageboards. Thanks to Ice for the reminder!

Nice to see this emulation project has not died

I suppose I am from the old school of emulation when games as complex as Pac Man was all the rage. This is retrogaming in its purist sense and I have very fond memories of those days

I must admit - my first arcade machine I bought was Gyrus - but eventualy I did buy Spiderman - which this emulator tries to run.

Emulation moves on as does gaming in general - that is why Modeler will not at the moment be my favourite emulator but will be very important to me - and to emulation in general - you have to admire the craftmanship in the coding and the love and respect that has gone into it.

Emulation is my hobby as is anything retro - so Roll on this release - well done the team - well done Jose and lets all have fun
