A new version of Kawaks, the Capcom arcade emulator, has been released. You can download version 1.06 from the Emulator Download Page right now! As if the previous version had come out more than three days ago, this new release carries with it a long list of changes! For example, the "Mercs" background has been fixed, "Forgotten Worlds" and "Lost Worlds" are now supported, CPS1 sound is in there and much more! Check out the whatsnew file for all the details. Enjoy!

I one good thing from all these CPS1 and CPS2 emulators is that there is bound be an emulator thats right for them.

And a good variety to choose from.

Nobody replied to my first post so I'm posting it again:

I have a GeForce 2 MX 400. When I run Kawaks, my video is very blurry. It does this with other emus too (final burn, nebula) but not MAME. MAME displays the games (CPS2) just fine. Does anyone else have this card or problem?

Actually, what you're seeing is your video card doing some filtering on the game video, because the video is being stretched beyond its original size to fit on your screen. I don't know how you can turn that off.

It, however, is not a bug - merely a feature. :)

yup that's right, however try pressing alt+d during gameplay that will get rid of that filtering but instead you'll have to live with some annoying sort of scanlines!!!!

cheers
