ePSXe 1.40!!! - June 25,2001 by JoseQ
Probably the best PSX emulation out in the scene right now, ePSXe has been updated with a new (much awaited) release as well as a site re-design! You can download this new binary from the Emulator Download Page right now! This new version includes a new wizard to help with configuration, adds preliminary support for the Cyberpad plugin, the snapshot pics for the savestates are here, and more. Check out the new website for more details. Enjoy!

> This happens depending on what game you are playing, such as Legend of Dragoon, and pretty much all Final Fantasy games. The best way to get around this is to make a savestate just before you get to the "Insert Disc 2" screen, restart the emu, then load the 2nd disc, and open the savestate.

We have always enjoyed this emulator...Compatibility is amazing...If you are having sound issues try Petes new SPU DSOUND sound plugin version 1.10 or Iori's SPU plugin...these are currently the most compatible for sound...read the instructions...we get near perfect speech on MGS and Soul Reaver...If you require further assistance find us at http://darkwatcher.home.att.net

Hey, so you wanted to know what games work good? Well you can go to their site and look for the compatibility list but what I can tell you right now is that Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 9, and Chrono Cross work perfect but you may need to use different video plugins to get the best out of each game. I also know the Resident Evil 3 Nemesis works good but the sound is messed up, it might be fixed soon with newer plugins but that's what I know. Contact me at wingzero82@hotmail.com or look for me on msn messenger. I think I might know more, I have to look around a bit. See ya
